BiographyLil Wayne was born in New Orleans and as a kid, was in the gifted program in school. His career started young, being with the group the "Hot Boyz" at age 14. From there, Wayne became a solo artist. His solo career (long story short) is where he became a superstar celebrity. Wayne has released 9 solo albums (I Am Not a Human Being II) will be his 10th. He has also released 18 free mixtapes, has had 7 top-10 hits as a solo artist ("Lollipop" went to #1), and has been a featured artist in 10 top-10 hits. His album sales in the United States stand at over 12.9 million copies and his digital track sales stand at over 37 million digital copies. His career plan is to release "Devol" and "The Carter V" and then retire from rap.

SinglesThe first single from the album was released on June 5, 2012. "My Homies Still" which features Detroit rapper Big Sean, charted at #38 in the U.S., a remix for the song which features Wayne's label mates Gudda Gudda and Jae Millz, and southern rapper Young Jeezy was released as part of the free mixtape Dedication 4. The second single released is "No Worries" which features a chorus from Detail was released on September 3, 2012. The song reached #29 in the U.S. This song like "My Homies Still (Remix) was released as a part of Dedication 4, but was later put as a digital download on iTunes. Complex magazine named it the #50 song of 2012. The 3rd single "Love Me" was released as a digital download on January 18, 2013. The song features a chorus sang by both Drake and Future. In its first week with radio airplay and iTunes downloads, the song charted at #53 in the country, and getting higher.
